AKHCAN's 40 hour Tier 1 competency based CHW training is offered in person and virtually. This training is approved by the Kentucky Department of Public Health Office of Community Health Workers to provide Foundational (Tier 1) training for Community Health Workers.
AKHCAN brings together experts and stakeholders to increase and improve healthcare access for all low-income, uninsured and underinsured residents, documented and undocumented, of Kentucky.
